Abstracts

We invite researchers, practitioners, and professionals to submit abstracts for PREMUS 2025, the 12th International Scientific Conference on the Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders, taking place from September 9-12, 2025, in Tübingen, Germany.

The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended: Abstracts can now be submitted until April 22, 2025 (23:59 CET). Accepted contributions will be presented as oral presentations, posters, or within symposia.

Presensation Type
You can choose between the following presentation types: oral presentation, poster, contribution to a symposium. 

Oral presentation/poster: 
Oral or poster presentations are available as a format for scientific presentations. Presentations or posters are assigned to thematic sessions. Please indicate the desired type of presentation (oral or poster). The scientific committee reserves the right to decide on the acceptance of an abstract and to determine the final form of presentation.

Symposium (90 minutes):
If you are planning a symposium consisting of 4 - 6 presentations, please submit an abstract for each of the presentations under the presentation type “Symposium contribution”. During the submission process, please also indicate the title of the symposium so that the contributions can be assigned to the symposium as part of the program planning.

In addition, please send the abstract of the symposium (consisting of the title of the symposium, names and e-mail addresses of the chairs, description text, outline of the symposium including times and titles of the presentations) by e-mail to premus@kukm.de

The scientific committee reserves the right to decide on the acceptance of a symposium. Please also note that the symposium may be extended by the program committee to include further presentations on related topics or that the presentations submitted as part of the symposium may also be divided between other sessions. 

Abstract Submission – PREMUS 2025

Abstracts can be edited until the extended submission deadline on April 22, 2025, 11:59 PM (CET).

All accepted abstracts will be citable and published in GMS German Medical Science.

Please follow these guidelines when submitting your abstract:

  • Create an account in the submission portal. If you already have an account, log in with your credentials.
  • Multiple abstracts can be submitted using the same account (note: no more than three abstracts as main author/presenter). You can also edit drafts before final submission.
  • Abstracts can be edited until the extended submission deadline on April 22, 2025, 11:59 PM (CET).
  • Abstracts must be written in English and adhere to the scientific format.

  1. Log in to the submission portal and enter the required details.
  2. Complete all fields, including title, authors, affiliations, and abstract text.
  3. Click “Submit” to finalize your submission.
  4. Upon submission, a confirmation email will be sent to all listed authors, including your Abstract ID.

  • All abstracts will be peer-reviewed anonymously by the program committee.
  • Authors will be notified of the review outcome in June 2025.
  • The scientific committee reserves the right to determine the final presentation format (oral, poster, symposium).

  • Accepted presenters must register for the congress separately. Abstract submission does not replace congress registration.
  • The presenter commits to presenting the abstract in the allocated session.
